ENTRY FEE: The entry fee, set by the CSAC Office, for the 2014 CSAC XC Championships is $100.00 per team ($200.00 if both genders are competing). There is no discount for an incomplete team. It is preferred that institutions send their entry fee so that it arrives
prior to the championship. The latest date for payment of entry fees is at the 10:00am Coaches meeting at the Championship. Please make your checks payable to "

PARKING:
Upon entering Core Creek Park, team vans will be asked to park in the first lot by the first baseline of the softball field. Team buses are to park in the next parking lot further down.
FACILITIES:
Located near the pavilion close to the start / finish line. Men: 2 Stalls, 1 urinal. Women: 3 stalls. One port-a-potty is located at the lower parking lot at the far soccer fields by the half mile mark on the course.
RESULTS:
Unofficial results will be posted as soon as they are available. Only head coaches with the provided credentials may view results. As per the 2014 CSAC Cross Country Code:
1. Individual and team results from the championship races shall be posted near the check-in area for all coaches to review within 15 minutes of the conclusion of each race.
2. At the conclusion of the last race of the day once both the individual and team results are posted, there will be a 20-minute challenge period for coaches to challenge the final results.
In order to receive the results from the last race the coach must submit his or her ballot for coach of the year/sportsmanship to the cross-country sports chair. 3. Once the challenge period ends, the results are final and the award ceremony shall begin.
4. Challenges to the results.
a. A games committee shall be formed for the championship meet consisting of the head meet official, the conference office liaison present at the Championship, the sport liaison, the host institution's head coach and an at-large coach to be determined by the sport liaison.
b. Any challenge to the results shall be recorded by that head coach with the head meet official for resolution by the Games Committee.
COURSE:
The course is same as was run at the Highlander Invitational and consists of grass, dirt and gravel trails and limited black top crossings.
Men's Course - 8,000 meters
Women's Course - 6,000 meters

PACKET PICK-UP:
Packets with bib numbers and course maps can be picked up at the check-in table (located behind the starting line by the pavilion). Bib numbers should be worn on the front of the uniform.
NATIONAL ANTHEM: One performance of the National Anthem will occur about 15 minutes prior to the start of the first race.
UNIFORM INSPECTION/ ATHLETE CHECK-IN: Athletes should report to the starting line 10 minutes prior to the start of their race. Only competing Student-athletes and coaches should be in the starting area.

ATHLETIC TRAINING PERSONNEL: Athletic trainers will be located by the finish line. Ice, taping, and pre-race stretching will be provided. Any teams with athletes requiring services prior to the race are asked to contact Jennifer Massey, Head Athletic Trainer, at jmassey@cairn.edu prior to the day of the race. Please e-mail a list identifying injuries of athletes and their treatment needs. Teams are asked to bring their own medical kit and supplies for taping. An ambulance and crew will be located near the finish line in case of an emergency.
COACH'S MEETING: A brief coach's meeting will take place at the registration table at 10:00am. All head coaches and, or assistants are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting. The head official will go over general information and, answer any questions regarding the course, results, the protest period, etc.
GAMES COMMITTEE: Sports Committee Chair, Host Event Manager Gregg Fanus, Eric Bofinger (host institute head coach), conference office representative and one at-large coach, Michael Badway. Any member of the games committee impacted by a protest will be released from the group and may be replaced. The head official will have an NCAA rulebook on hand to address pertinent NCAA regulations prior to voting on a protest.
AWARDS CEREMONY: The awards ceremony will take place near the finish line. Athletes and teams will be called up front to receive their awards. We are asking that all student-athletes sit on the ground until called up for their award so the presentation can be seen by all. As per the 2013 CSAC Cross Country Code:
1. The awards ceremony will not begin until 35 minutes after the conclusion of the last race to account for a 15-minute period to post results and a 20-minute challenge period.
2. Order of awards presentation:
a. Individual Sportsmanship
b. 2nd Team All-Conference (places 14-8)
c. 1st Team All-Conference (places 7-1 and any course records broken)
d. Order of team finishes (from bottom to top)
e. Runner-up Team Award
f. Champion Award
PROGRAMS: Each team will receive 2 programs in each packet (men's and women's). Additional programs will be available near the start and finish line.
