Smiley played in 14 matches for the Highlanders, starting in 13 this season. She ended the season with a team-leading hitting percentage of .279 with 81 kills on the year. In the final match of the season, vs. Cedar Crest (Oct. 29), Smiley set a career-high with 15 kills. Smiley finished the season with 14 total blocks, with seven block assists and seven block solos.
