Abington, PA - Highlanders drop United East Match. 

In doubles play the Highlanders trotted out Sophmore Matheo Baez (Ibarra, Ecuador / Victoria Bilingual Christian Academy) and freshman Vicente Martinez-Pavez (Pichilemu, Chile Lower Dauphin) as the top pair and they fell short losing their set 6-4. At the second doubles flight junior Josh Nacy (Puebla, Mexico / Michigan Connections Academy) and Senior Evan Ciccone (Eatontown, NJ / Monmouth Regional) came together and took their opponents all the way to a tiebreaker, dropping the set 7-6(7-4).

In SIngles play Josh Nacy picked up the sole Highlanders point by winning 6-4, 2-6, 6-0 at the second Singles slot. Ciccone took his Penn State Abington counterpart to a tiebreaker in bth sets losing 6-7(2-7), 6-7(5-7).
