LANGHORNE, PA – Cairn University Women's Volleyball was picked sixth in the 2025 Preseason Coaches Poll as the Highlanders' season gets underway on the road, Friday night August 29.

The United East Conference released their 2025 Women's Volleyball Preseason Coaches Poll on Monday which had Cairn Women's Volleyball slated sixth among the conference field of 15.

The Highlanders look to make another playoff run this year with juniors Bridget Dahn (Smithsburg, MD / Heritage Academy) and Georgianna Thorpe (Southampton, PA / William Tennent) as their returning offensive components with middles Madison Delp (York, PA / Clarks Summit University) and Maddie Shackelford (Warrington, PA / Plumstead Christian) looking to step into bigger roles. 

Cairn Women's Volleyball gets their season underway behind new Head Coach Elissa Murray on Friday night, August 29 at Penn St. Abington before hosting Centenary and Mount St. Vincent the next day for a tri-match.
