SB: Highlanders Take on Rosemont in Season Finale

ROSEMONT, PA – The Highlanders traveled to take on Rosemont for a doubleheader to close out their 2025 season.
 
GAME ONE
Rosemont (11-25 / 8-8 UNITED EAST) had a dominant game against the Highlanders, scoring 5 runs in the first two innings, and then tacking on another 3 in the final frames to give the Ravens a commanding 8-0 win. Cairn (2-25 / 0-16 UNITED EAST) had four hits in game one against the Ravens, but the Highlanders couldn't get any runs on the board and eventually fell to the Ravens by a score of 8-0.
 
GAME TWO
The Highlanders got on the board first in game two with a RBI single from freshman second baseman Korina Feliciano (Cherry Hill, NJ / Cherry Hill West) sending her classmate Riley Curtis (Newark, DE / Odessa) home after Curtis managed a single to get on base giving Cairn a 1-0 lead after the top of the first. Rosemont then went on to score 10 straight unanswered runs through five innings. Feliciano reached first on an error bringing junior catcher Myiah Petroro (Long Island, NY / Liberty University Online Academy) to home scoring another run for the Highlanders. The final score would be 10-2 in favor of the Ravens in the regular season doubleheader finale.
 
Curtis went 2 for 2, driving in a run for the Highlanders while Feliciano had a pair of RBI.
