LANGHORNE, PA – Cairn University Athletics Student Athlete-Advisory Committee announced, Wednesday, their partnership with Operation Christmas Child ahead of the Christmas season.
 

Cairn University Athletics Student Athlete-Advisory Committee (SAAC) is partnering with Operation Christmas Child to put together boxes for kids in need around the world. All thirteen Cairn athletic programs are being tasked with putting boxes together as a team.
 

"We think this is a great opportunity for Cairn Athletics to use our blessings and servant hearts to help those outside of Langhorne and to put smiles on children's faces all over the world as we spread the love of Jesus with the gospel message," noted Cairn SAAC Vice President Aaron Babyak.
 

The packed boxes will be returned to the committee by November 22 and sent off to Operation Christmas Child ahead of Christmas.
 

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan's Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations. Since 1993, more than 220 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoe box. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God's love.
