LANGHORNE, Pa. – The Cairn University women's volleyball team lost at home against Goucher College by a score of 3-0 (13-25, 17-25, 10-25) on Saturday afternoon.
Goucher (4-7) was able to get off to a good start and handily took the first set of the contest. Cairn (2-8) fought back, rallying to a 9-6 lead in the second set. However, the Gophers rattled off 10-straight points from there and regained momentum, winning the set by a score of 25-17. Goucher used that momentum from the second-set comeback to claim the third set, and thus the match.
