LANGHORNE, PA: Men's tennis preserves their perfect season start with a 6-3 win over PSU Brandywine.
Brandywine only fielded 3 men for Wednesday's match, giving the Highlanders default wins in the #2 doubles, #3 doubles, #4 singles, #5 singles, and #6 singles matches.
In competition, Brandywine took down the Highlanders in the #1 singles (
Brad Garges) and #2 singles (Timothy Robinson Jr.) matchups. In the #3 spot,
Max Bruestle played well against Brandywine's Cameron Flanagan and won his sets 6-0, 6-4. His victory, plus the forfeited matches, gave the Highlanders the 6-3 team score.
In the lone doubles match, the #1 pair of
Ismael Santana and
Joel Cassel dropped their matchup 8-2.
The Highlanders return to action on Saturday, April 17th, against the Defenders of Clarks Summit University here in Langhorne at 12 PM.
