LANGHORNE, PA – The Highlanders hosted the Neumann Knights Wednesday night, defeating Neumann 9-0 for a much needed win. In a reversal of last year's play, Cairn has struggled in doubles this fall, seeking new team matchups in place of last years successful doubles teams. The Highlanders rolled out Allyssa Peter and Paige Kemper at first flight, second Lauren Griffith and Charlotte Allen, and at third doubles the dynamic Neal sisters Maya and Daphne. After three tough fought doubles matches the Highlanders only gave up two games, taking a 3-0 lead. 

The Knights battled in singles but Cairn held them off, sweeping singles play 6-0 when Charlotte Allen clinched the final point. Cairn will play again this Saturday at Homecoming at 10:00 PM against Gwynedd Mercy University.
