PHOENIXVILLE, PA- After a grueling stretch the past couple weeks, the Highlanders bounced back in a major way with a commanding three set victory over the University of Valley Forge Tuesday night.
The Highlanders play has been trending upwards recently as Cairn's young squad has found their footing. All the pieces came together against Valley Forge as
Lyntia Gwess and Ally Barnes dominated on the offensive end, while the entire Highlanders squad played an excellent game defensively. In what has been one of their biggest struggles this season the Highlanders buckled down on serve receive with only one error the entire match.
Look for Cairn to keep up the momentum as they begin CSAC play with a match against the College of Saint Elizabeth at 7:00 PM tomorrow night. Additionally, tomorrow will be the Highlanders Dig Pink game where they rally to support the fight against Breast Cancer. Wear pink or buy your own Cairn Volleyball Dig Pink shirt by contacting head coach
Whitney Seidel. See you there!
