LANGHORNE, PA- The Highlanders took on the Cedar Crest Falcons in a conference matchup, coming on strong in the fourth quarter and defeating the Falcons 67-55.

The Highlanders started off strong, slashing to the basket time-and-again for easy buckets. The Falcons Meghan Gregory brought Cedar Crest back with a couple layups, but the Highlanders
Victoria Stum came up huge off the bench, shutting down Gregory and patrolling the paint for Cairn.
Kendra Stum started off the second half in excellent fashion, scoring 6 straight points for the Highlanders to stretch the Highlanders lead to 9 points. The Falcons came storming back and Cairn led by one heading into the fourth quarter.Â
Payton Emerick, who played a fantastic game, came up huge for the Highlanders in the fourth, knocking down six straight free throws and knocking down a couple huge jumpers to put the game out of reach.

Emerick finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds for another double-double and
Victoria Stum also notched a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The Highlanders travel to Scranton Tuesday night to take on Clarks Summit University at 7:00 PM.
