HACKETTSTOWN, NJ- The Highlanders got back to their winning ways in their first CSAC match of the 2018 season. Cairn traveled to Centenary University and dispatched the Cyclones in straight sets.

The first set started quickly as the Highlanders rattled off an 11-2 run behind service aces from Lyntia Gwess and Brooke Seidel, and four kills from Gwess as well. Staked to such a large lead, the Highlanders easily completed the first set victory, 25-11. The second set followed a similar pattern as Brie Norton went on an incredible serving run that led to 11 straight points for the Highlanders and a 25-9 victory. Centenary battled back in the third set, but the Highlanders simply would not be denied, relying on senior Haley Sheehan, Gwess, and freshman Allison Barnes to complete the third set victory and win the match in straight sets.

The Highlanders will be back in action at 11:00 AM this Saturday when they host Rutgers-Newark to kick off Homecoming's sporting events.
