Aston, PA – Cairn University softball dropped to 0-6 this season with two losses to Penn State Brandywine on Thursday afternoon. The Highlanders lost 17-0 in game one and 26-1 in game two against the Nittany Lions.
Katelyn Johnson led the Highlanders with the bat in game one going 2-2 with one double. The Highlanders had three hits in each of the games to the Nittany Lions' eight in game one and 16 in game two.
Katelyn Loveless pitched both games for the Highlanders and collected four strikeouts in game one.
Jessica Piccolo picked up the team's only RBI with a single in game two to score

Julia Allman led the Nittany Lions in game one going 2-4 with four RBI. Ashlee Stritzinger went 3-4 in game two with seven RBI. Olivia Encarnacion earned the win in game one, while Grace DeRosa collected the win in game two.
Cairn will next travel to the University of Valley Forge on Tuesday, March 29th.
