Owings Mills, MD - The Cairn women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 match at the Stevenson Mustangs on Tuesday afternoon. Cairn picked up victories in the number one singles and doubles matches as well as the number five singles.

Rebecca Graber won her 11th-straight match in singles play 6-1, 6-1 and she teamed up with Kara Williams to defeat their Stevenson foes 8-2 in doubles play at the number one slot.

In the other doubles matches the Highlanders competed tough, but dropped both matches by 8-2 decisions.

As mentioned in singles play Rebecca Graber defeated Kelsi Mentzer in the number one singles match. Graber's win was her 11th of the season and her 35th career singles victory.

Angela James won the only other singles match for the Highlanders when she took down Emily Herzog 6-2, 6-3 in the number five singles. James' victory was her fifth singles win of the season.

The Highlanders will next take the court on Friday afternoon when they travel back to Baltimore, Md. to take on Notre Dame (MD) University at 3:00 p.m.
