BOX SCORE Lancaster, PA: Women's Volleyball hit the road on Saturday traveling to Lancaster Bible College to participate in the LBC Tri-Match. The Highlanders dropped both games to Messiah and the host Chargers 3-0.
Against Messiah Kate Steger and Brigid Shehan led the offense with nine kills apiece. With Steger adding eleven digs. Sami Delfino contributed fourteen assists.
Game two same as the first, Cairn was unable to win a set against Lancaster Bible. Steger paced the offense again with nine kills. Delfino added twenty assists and Shehan was able to contribute ten defensive digs.
The Highlanders will look to bounce back next weekend when they travel to Frostburg, MD. When they participate in the Frostburg State Tournament. On Friday Cairn will square off against La Roche College and the host Bobcats. On Saturday they will battle Washington College (Md.) and the University of Rochester.
