(25-18, 25-17, 25-14)BOX SCOREPhoenixville, PA: Women's Volleyball traveled to NCCAA rival Valley Forge Christian College Wednesday night and defeated the Patriots in straight sets (25-18, 25-17, 25-14) to win their third match in a row.
Brigid Shehan (Media, PA / Penncrest) and Kate Steger (Hilton, NY / Hilton) led the offense attack for the Highlanders both recording ten kills for the game.
Freshman setter Sami Delfino (Coral Springs, FL / Coral Springs Christian Academy) dished out a game high 22 assists. While fellow freshman Kelsey Johnson (Delmar, DE / Salisbury Christian School) led all players with 10 defensive digs with Delfino chipping in eight of her own.
Cairn returns back to action this weekend when they will travel to Lancaster, PA to participate in the Lancaster Bible College Tri-Match. The Highlanders will square off against Messiah at 1 p.m. and then take on the host Chargers at 3 p.m.
