ALLENTOWN, PA - The Men's Golf team continued their fall season as they traveled to the Lehigh Valley to participate in the Muhlenberg Fall Invitational.  The team took home a 17th of 22nd place finish on the afternoon.

Results

Josiah Buss led the Highlanders with the low score of the day shooting an 82 (+12) which was good for a tie for 52nd place.  Ian Zang was the second place finisher for Cairn shooting an 85 (+15) good for a tie for 68th place.  Mike Boucher shot an 87 (+17) which put him in a tie for 74th place.  Adam Green continued his streak of shooting under 100, finishing tied for 97th shooting a 96 (+26).  Matthew Rhodes shot a 102 (+32) on the afternoon which found him in a tie for 101 place.  

The Highlanders had some stiff competiton on the day, as three of the top five finishers were schools that have done well in tournaments this fall against the Highlanders in Messiah, Penn State Harrisburg, and Rutgers-Camden.  

Keith Miller from Penn State Harrisburg won the medalist with a birdie on the second handicap hole.  Miller beat out Joran Kirsch from Messiah, both shooting a 72 (+2) on the afternoon.  

Senior Ian Zang had this to say about the afternoon.  "The course was beautiful and well maintained, but the greens were extremely small and if you were not precise they were easy to miss.  Another challenge we needed to overcome today, was that there roughly nine blind tee shots.  However, we are looking forward to playing our first home match next Tuesday at Makefield Highlands.  

The Highlanders will host the Fall Invitational Tuesday the 7th at Makefield Highlands in Yardley, PA.
