GALLOWAY, NJ - The Men's Golf took home a third place finish in the Richard Stockton Fall Invitational at the Stockton Seaview & Hotel Golf Club Wednesday afternoon.
The Highlanders finished third shooting a team total of 369 (+85) on the day behind Rutgers Camden 321 (+37) and host Richard Stockton 336 (+52).
The day belonged to the Scarlet Raptors as their A team managed to put out three of the top five finishers on the day.
The Highlanders were once again led by
Ian Zang 86 (+15) which was good enough for his best finish on the season at tied for 8th place.
Josiah Buss finished in a tie for 12th shooting a 89 (+18). Sophomore
Adam Green finished in 14th place shooting a 95 (+24).
Matthew Rhodes finished his second consecutive round with a 99 (+28) and
Mike Boucher finished out the day for the Highlanders with a 109 (+38).
"While our scores may have been higher yesterday, I still think we played well. The course was the toughest we've played all year and the conditions were incredibly windy. We continue to improve each week and hopefully we can have a breakout match in the next week or two" said senior Ian Zang.
The Highlanders will journey up to the Lehigh Valley to participate in the Muhlenberg College Invitational at Lehigh Country Club on Monday after noon, before they host their own fall invitational on October 7th.
