GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA,- The Women's Tennis team traveled to Gwynedd Valley to take on the Griffins of Gwynedd Mercy University. ,The Highlanders suffered a 8-1 loss with the lone win coming from the number one singles spot, Becca Graber.

The Highlanders (0-6, 0-2 CSAC) had a tough time winning sets off of the talented Griffin team (5-2, 4-0 CSAC). ,

Becca Graber came out on top in the number one singles position, defeating Gwynedd Mercy's number 1, who was previously unbeaten in conference play going into the match. ,

Coach Wilson said, "Excellent playing by all Cairn players despite losses! These players are really gelling as a team." ,

The Highlanders return to action Monday afternoon, as they will continue their previously suspended match with Baptist Bible College. ,The Highlanders are currently up 4-2 with 3 matches in progress. ,The match will begin at 12:30 pm before Baptist Bible heads down to play Cabrini, also in conference play.
