BOX SCORE Frostburg, MD: Cairn University Women's Volleyball started the Frostburg State Volleyball Tournament 0-2 on Friday falling to La Roche 3-1 and the host Bobcats 3-0.
Against La Roche Brigid Shehan led all players in Kills (21) and Digs (27). Sami Delfino added 32 assists with 17 digs while Kate Steger chipped in 12 kills.
The Highlanders were unable to keep pace with the host Bobcats in the night cap. Delfino dished out a team high 14 assists while recording 10 defensive digs.
Cairn will return back to action tomorrow when they take on Washington College (Md.) and the University of Rochester.
