Middletown, PA: The Highlanders traveled on the turnpike Tuesday afternoon towards the state capital to take on Penn State Harrisburg.

Cairn fell to the host Lions 7-2. Freshman Rebecca Graber (Atglen, PA / Octorara) and junior Lauren Shidel (Pittsburgh, PA / Thomas Jefferson) each recorded victories in singles play.

Graber won her #1 singles matchup 6-2, 6-4 for her first win on the year.  Shidel won a thriller in #3 singles 7-6(7-2), 6-7(7-1) and 7-6(10-8) in the third set super tiebreaker for her second straight singles victory.

The Highlanders will host their home and CSAC opener on Saturday when Baptist Bible comes to Langhorne at 12 p.m.
