Box Score Bryn Athyn, PA- The Lady Highlanders fell to the Lions of Bryn Athyn college in an out of conference contest by a score of 84-34.

The Lady Highlanders held a promising start to tonight's contest as Elizabeth Joy Hartzler found the bottom of the net from downtown a mere 40 seconds into the game to grant Cairn an early lead.  But, the size and strength of the Lions was overwhelming for the Lady Highlanders as they were outrebounded by a total of 71-36.  The swarming defense of the Lions kept Cairn in check for much of the game as the Lady Highlanders simply struggled to find the bottom of the net shooting 19% for the contest.  Hajaaha Stevens starred for Bryn Athyn as the forward recorded 21 points and 15 rebounds.

For the Lady Highlanders point guard Amie Eppolito once again led the way in the scorer's column, tallying 17 points on the night.  Freshman Whitney Seidel also continued her solid play upon joining Cairn, as the forward registered 8 rebounds; additionally forward Naomi Collipp recorded 2 points, 1 steal, and 2 rebounds in just eight minutes of gameplay.  

The Lady Highlanders will host Keystone College Wednesday night at 6:00 PM to resume CSAC play.
