The Lady Highlanders endured a tough loss against the Cyclones of Centenary College this weekend.  Sophomore center Emily Tambussi made a jumper two minutes into gameplay, giving the Lady Highlanders an early two to nothing lead.  The Cyclones retook the lead about thirty seconds later with a jump shot by Melissa Rabe, and Centenary would not relinquish this lead for the rest of the game.  

The Lady Highlanders simply could not decipher the Cyclones stifling defense as Cairn was held to a mere 15.2% shooting from the field.  Sophomore Amie Eppolito led the Highlanders with 8 points, and Regina Younger snared 6 rebounds and 3 steals for the night.  

The Cyclones were led by Klarissa Perry with a game high 15 points, and Jessie Sharr who chipped in 14 points of her own.

The Lady Highlanders will host Rosemont College Monday night at 7:00 pm.
