Langhorne, PA - In a non-conference match on Wednesday afternoon, the Lady Highlanders fell to the visiting Scarlet Raptors of Rutgers-Camden, 8-1.

Sarah Doorly came closest to snapping the Raptors grip in the doubles competition, losing 8-4.
In the singles portion of the match, Cairn was able to count on a win fromÂ
Rebecca Hardman in the 2nd spot, who topped her opponent, Jordan Crawley, by the score 6-0, 6-4. With the win, Hardman becomes the team-leader in singles competition wins.Â
The Highlanders had a rough time of it in the other battles.
The Highlanders are now 1-6 on the season. The ladies have their chance this Friday, September 27, to get back on track against CSAC rival Rosemont College on the road. The Highlanders triumphed over the Ravens last season, 6-3,Â
