Box Score Philadelphia, PA - In what some would call a local derby, the Philadelphia University Rams swept the Cairn Highlanders, 3-0, handing them their second straight loss.

The NCAA Div. II Rams proved too much for the Lady Highlanders, as Philadelphia won in straight sets 25-12, 25-14, 25-17.
Rachel Johnson led the Highlanders with 8 kills on the night. Brigid Shehan and Nicole Spicer put good shifts on defense, each recording nine digs. Erin Greenwood ran the point on offense, registering a game-high 21 assists.
Philadelphia's Allison Manley had a game-high 13 kills.
The Highlanders had trouble getting their offense in gear as the ladies only had a .062 attacking percentage, well below their season average of .174. On the otherhand, the Rams enjoyed a good night, hitting .440.
Cairn is now 3-2 on the season. This weekend, the Lady Highlanders will travel south to take part in the Frostburg St. tri-match where they will face-off with the host and Univ. of Pitt-Greensburg.
