The women's basketball team fell to Penn St. Abington by a score of 54-38. Things remained tight in the early going, but Penn St. Abington was able to pull away befor halftime and take a 26-12 lead into the break. The lady Highlanders responded in the 2nd half, but could not draw any closer.

Amie Eppolito lead the lady Higlanders w/ 14 points, while freshmen E.J. Hartzler and junior Brigid Shehan chipped in w/ 10 and 8 points respectively. Brigid's 8 points were a career high.

The lady Higlanders fall to 0-2 on the season, while Penn St. Abington improves to 1-2. The lady Highlanders will be back in action, Monday vs Arcadia University. Tip-off is at 7:00pm.
