Scranton, PA - The women's volleyball team defeated CSAC rivals Marywood University, 3-0, on the road in a crucial Colonial States Athletic Conference tilt Tuesday night. Set scores were 25-16, 25-22, and 25-21.

The Lady Highlanders used a five-pronged attack to sweep the Pacers in a matchup that saw two perennial CSAC playoff teams battling for probable seedings.

Rachel Johnson led the charge for Cairn with nine kills. Brigid Shehan finished with seven kills, while both Emily Mayer and Nicole Spicer turned in six kills. Erin Greenwood tallied 25 assists.

Shehan also turned up big on the defensive end with a team-high 13 kills. Ashleigh Colomina came up with 12 digs.

The Highlanders are now 14-5, 4-1 CSAC.
