Mayer and Shehan each tallied 10 kills on the day, powering Cairn to 25-18, 25-8, 25-12 set wins and their second straight 3-0 win. The win improves the Highlanders chance of yet another post-season run, giving them a 3-1 conference record. Mayer also added 3 block assists on the defensive side of things.
Senior setter,
Erin Greenwood, averaged better than 10 assists per set to finish with 31.
Nicole Spicer registered 7 kills and a team second-best 11 digs.
Abbie Keating had a game-high 15 digs.

Ashleigh Colomina tallied 9 digs on the night, helping her surpass 1,000 digs for her career. Colomina now has 1,002.
The Highlanders used several 3-0 runs in the opening set to push them to victory, 25-18, before cruising in the second and third sets. The second set was all but settled after Cairn started on a 13-1 streak, taking the set 12-8. To close out the day, the ladies one-upped their second set start by jumping all over the Mighty Macs 14-1 to start things in the final frame, but the CSAC rivals eventually traded points until a final 25-12 finish.
Cairn is now 3-1 in conference play and 13-5 overall.
On Tuesday, the Highlanders travel to Marywood University for a 7pm match. These two teams are very familiar with each other, meeting in the CSAC playoffs in each of the last four seasons.
