Baltimore, MD - Women's tennis failed in their bid for back-to-back victories for the first time all season, losing to conference rivals Notre Dame of Maryland, 7-2.
Notre Dame got off to a wonder start at home, sweeping the Doubles matches, although they were made to work for it in the number two spot.Â

In Singles play, seniorÂ
Dana Hartman finally got the monkey off her back, claiming her first win of the season. Not an easy task when playing in the number one spot, constantly facing the oppositions best player. She took her first set 6-2 before dropping the second 3-6. The senior composed herself enough to to win the third set, 7-6 (10-7).
Second-year playerÂ
Natalie Livingston was also able to win her third singles win of the season, her second in two days. Livingston overcome her opposition 6-0, 6-1.
The ladies slip to 1-8 in their Colonial States Athletic Conference schedule and 2-11 overall.
Next Saturday, the Highlanders will make a trip to Aston, PA to battle Neumann University in Cairn's season finale.
