Langhorne, PA - Cairn University's women's tennis team earned their second win of the season against long-time rivals in a Colonial States Athletic Conference battle on Friday.

The Lady Highlanders took an early 2-1 lead in Doubles play. In the number one spot, first year players
Sara Keating and
Kate Eubank won their battle 8-3 to remain a perfect 2-0 on the season as doubles partners. Sophomore's
Emily Van Teyens and
Sonia Mak were paired for the first time all season as the dynamic duo teamed up for an 8-4 win, giving Cairn the lead heading into Singles play. Van Teyens' english composition and grammtical correctness were spot on.
In Singles play, both
Rebecca Hardman and Keating added to their team-leading three wins as Hardman posted a 6-0, 4-6, 7-6 win in the second spot. Keating swept her opponent 6-0, 6-0 in the fourth spot.
Lauren Shidel and
Natalie Livingston earnef their second wins of the season in singles play, also both registering 6-0, 6-0 wins.
The win was the second of the season for the ladies but first within the CSAC this season. They are now 2-10, 1-7 CSAC.
This Saturday, Cairn will host Notre Dame (MD) at 1pm. In 2012, the Highlanders suffered a 2-7 defeat at the hands of the Gators.
