Radnor, PA - The women's tennis team is still looking for their first victory of the season after falling to Cabrini College this weekend.
Cabrini College swept all three doubles spots and managed to take all six singles matches as well.
Tara Munro (Millsboro, DE / Delmarva Christian), yet again, came agonizingly close to getting a positive result only to fall at the last hurdle. Munro pushed Cabrini's Victoria Nastala to extra games before losing 7-5. Nastala would take the momentum into the second set, winning 6-1. Senior
Meghan Whittington (Millboro, DE / Delmarva Christian) took the opposite approach. After having a tough time of it in the first set 6-0, Whittington turned up the heat on Mackenzie Murray, forcing the Cavalier into a 6-4 win.

Hannah Maddox (Staten Island, NY / Curtis) came the closest to pulling out a win 8-4.
After two played matches, and one rain out, the Highlanders continue to search for that winning formula. On the brighter side of things, Cairn has now played the top two favorites this season in the Colonial States Athletic Conference and can now count the toughest part of their schedule done with.
Next up, Penn St.-Abington on Tuesday, September 11th. Things are set to kick-off at 3pm. Last season meeting saw the Lions pull out a tight 5-4 victory. The Highlanders will certainly be looking for payback.
