Greenwood sets one of her 23 assists on the night
Langhorne, PA - Cairn University has played two women's volleyball matches in a row now without losing a single set. Even better, the team has not trailed by a single point for two matches.

On Thursday night, the Highlanders took on The King's College from New York City. In the first ever meeting between the two schools, Cairn was in command the entire night, sweeping to a 25-13, 25-16, 25-10 win.

2nd year Head Coach Ben Fuller was able to give minutes to every healthy player on his bench, including freshman Chloe Redmond (Lanham, MD / Grace Brethren) who made her collegiate debut in front of the home crowd. In making quick work of King's College, the Highlanders relied on four different players recording 5 or more kills. Emily Mayer (Red Hill, PA / Faith Academy) led the Highlanders with 8, a season-high for her, and 4 service aces. Abbie Keating (Langhorne, PA / Neshaminy) continued her solid start to the season with 6 kills, while both freshman Christine Overholt (Allentwon, PA / Lehigh Valley Christian) and junior setter Erin Greenwood (Springfield, OH / Shawnee) recorded 5 kills.

Emily Cone led The King's College with 4 kills.

Cairn's Greenwood recorded 23 assists on 31 kills.

The Highlanders will travel to Stevenson, MD this weekend to take part in Stevenson University's Invitational. Cairn will play three matches at 9am, 11am, and 3pm against Stevenson University, University of Mary Washington, and Ursinus College.
