Langhorne, Pa - The women's volleyball team made quick work of Keystone College on Thursday night, stretching their unbeaten run against the Giants to 5-0 since 2008.
Cairn took the opening two sets by nearly identical scores, 25-15, 25-14, before really turning up the heat with a 25-5 third set triump.
Emily Mayer and
Brigid Shehan each tallied 10 kills to lead the way offensively for the Highlanders. Junior setter
Erin Greenwood set up 27 of Cairn's 33 assists on the night. Greenwood also came up with 8 digs on her own side of the net, while defensive specialist
Ashleigh Colomina topped that with 9 digs. Greenwood and Colomina combined for a total of 9 service aces on the night.
Cairn is now unbeaten in conference play after two matches and improve to 11-7 overall.
This weekend, the Highlanders travel to Neumann University for a tri-match with the host and Frostburg State. Opening game is set for 2pm before a quick turnaround and 4pm start to the second game.
