Langhorne, PA - Top of the standings, Cabrini spoiled the Highlanders dream of an upset on homecoming.

The first two matches belong completely to the visiting Cavaliers, as Cabrini jumped all over the Highlanders, and opened a quick 2-0 lead; winning 25-11 and 25-13. Cairn seemed to wake up in the third set, however, and matched the CSAC leaders and reigning champs volley for volley. With a 26-24 third set win, the Highlanders were back in the contest and were within only a couple of points from forcing a fifth set.
For the fourth set, both teams were side-by-side the whole time, with Cairn seemingly riding a wave of momentum heading down the stretch. The two teams went to extra sets but it was the Cavaliers who came out on top, 27-25, to claim victory 3-1.
Abbie Keating led the Highlanders with 12 kills.
Brigid Shehan lashed 9 kills. Setter
Erin Greenwood assisted 33 kills.
Ashleigh Colomina had a team-high 15 digs on defense. Cabrini's Danielle Carrozza led all attackers with 17 kills, followed closely by teammates Megan Ryan who tallied 15 kills.
With the loss, Cairn falls to 3-2 in CSAC play and 13-8 overall. The Highlanders are 5th in the standings. Cabrini continues to sit top of the table at 6-0 in conference.
