Immaculata, PA - Cairn University strolled to a 3-0 victory over CSAC opponent Immaculata University.
The Highlanders were dominant in the first two sets, taking them 25-15 and 25-7, before facing a bit tougher competition in the third set, but ultimately prevailing 25-21, to take the 3-0 win.
Cairn's junior mid-hitter
Emily Mayer led all attackers with 12 kills while
Abbie Keating impressively added another 11 kills for the Highlanders. Keating also tallied 12 digs, only topped by teammate
Brigid Shehan who logged 15.
As a team, the Highlanders rocketed 12 service aces against Immaculata.
Cairn improves to 15-9 overall and 4-2 in CSAC play. Immaculata falls to 6-18, 2-6.
On Wednesday, the Highlanders travel to Clarks Summit, PA to face Baptist Bible at 5:30pm.
