Lancaster, PA - For years, PBU's main rivals have been the Blueberry Clad bunch up the northeast extension that we don't speak of by name. Over the past couple of years, another group has wiggled their name into the equation. On Thursday night, the Crimson Eagles took on these newcomers.
The Crimson Eagles took on the Chargers of Lancaster Bible and dropped 10 3-pointers, but it wasn't enough as LBC won on their own court 62-55.
For the first time in a while, the Crimson Eagles had three different players finish in double-digits.
Haley Weber (Newfane, NY / Newfane) went 4-for-10 from 3-point range for 12 points and added 7 assists. Junior forward
Hannah McCardle (Lewisberry, PA / Red Lion) finished with 14 points on 5-of-11 shooting, including 4-for-6 from long range. Defensively, McCardle has 2 blocks.
Dani Bradley-Wilson (Philadelphia, PA / Delaware Valley Charter) completed a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Lancaster Bible had 4 different players score double-digits.
The score is certainly the most important statistics, but the most interesting stat of the night was PBU shot only 3 free-throws to LBC's 19.
This Saturday, PBU will travel to Reading, PA to take on Cedar Crest College and will be looking to avenge their 43-76 loss earlier in the season. Game will start at 1pm.
