LANGHORNE, PA - The Crimson Eagles improved to 10-9 overall and 2-2 in CSAC play after handing Immaculata University their first CSAC loss this season, 5th overall.
The win also acts as a quick rebound for the Crimson Eagles after losing to Cabrini College last Saturday. PBU now gets to head into their homecoming match against New Jersey City University with confidence high.
The Crimson Eagles were made to work for the victory, however, as Immaculata refused to go down easily.
PBU won all three of their sets 25-19. They dropped the 4th set, 18-25.
PBU made 11 attacking errors in the 4th set, but that set would prove to be the exception instead of the rule. Throughout the rest of the match, the Crimson Eagles would only commit 8 attacking errors, with an overall attacking percentage of .213, including a strong .433 in the opening set.
Ashley Taylor would slam home 11 kills, with Brigid Shehan adding 9 and Joy Bucknam with 8.
The versatile Erin Greenwood would almost reach the 40 marker of assists, coming just shy with 36.
