Crimson Eagles Soar Past Ravens

Boxscore

ROSEMONT, PA
- The Crimson Eagles pick up their 9th win of the season and jump above the .500 mark with a win over CSAC opponent Rosemont College.

The win marks the 3rd straight for the Crimson Eagles, their longest and only winning streak of the season to date.

In a true team effort, the Crimson Eagles saw production from several players and spread the wealth around. PBU had 5 players finish with 4 or more kills on the night. Team Taylor, Ashley and Tricia (no relation) each had 6 kills. Ashleigh Colomina had her biggest offensive output of the season, flying in with 5 kills. Joy Bucknam and Brigid Shehan each chipped in with 4 kills.

Erin Greenwood was once again behind many of the attacks, setting up 28 points. Bucknam had 2 assists.

Surprisingly, there were no Solo Blocks for the Crimson Eagles. Not to say that there was little defense, as the ladies came up with 28 digs as a team. Ever-present on defense Erika Catalano came up with 6 digs, as did Erin Greenwood. Adding to her offensive production, Colomina came up 5 digs.

The Crimson Eagles are now 9-8. Rosemont falls to 1-7.

PBU will try and extend their winning streak against conference power Cabrini. The match takes place in Radnor, Pa this Saturday, September 24 at 4pm.
