LANGHORNE, PA - In their second match of the day, PBU's Women's Volleyball team followed up their win against Lancaster Bible College by defeating Valley Forge Christian College.
The Crimson Eagles went 6-0 in their sets for the day, winning both matches by the score 3-0.
PBU made quick work of the Patriots, winning 25-6, 25-4, 25-10.
As usual, Erin Greenwood controlled things setting up 24 kills. Ashley Taylor led all Crimson Eagles with 8 kills, adding to her season tally, a team leading, 117 kills.
PBU freshman Brigid Shehan continues to put in solid numbers on a regular basis. She may have only come up with 2 kills and 2 digs against Valley Forge, but adds depth and versatility to the PBU squad.
Senior Tricia Taylor had a big game, slamming home 7 kills. She finished with a .778 attack % against Valley Forge.
PBU improves to 8-8. They will be looking for their first CSAC win of the season on Thursday night when they travel to Rosemont College. The Crimson Eagles defeated Rosemont 3-0 last season and are hoping to repeat that effort.
