STEVENSON, MD - The Crimson Eagles defeated Penn State-Harrisburg to take the consolation match, but not before dropping back-to-back contests to Ursinus and FDU-Florham.

In the first match, PBU took on Ursinus. The ladies would take the first set 28-26, backed by 17 kills. But the Crimson Eagles could not keep up the blistering attack. Whether the hot streak was over or Ursinus figured out the Crimson Eagles offense, either way PBU's attack sputtered in the final 3 games.

Ursinus would take three straight sets to come away with a 3-1 win.

Final score, 26-28, 25-17, 25-20, 25-19.

PBU's offensive woes continued straight into the second match of the day against Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham. You'll always have a tough time of it when your best attacking percentage for a set is .100.

FDU-Florham would sweep the Crimson Eagles 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-22).

In the consolation match, PBU squared off against Penn State-Harrisburg. Against the Nittany Lions, it appeared the Crimson Eagles found their swagger and started putting the offense back together. Erin Greenwood would set the tone, coming up with 33 assists. Brigid Shehan would lead PBU in the kill category, knocking home 9. 8 Crimson Eagles recorded kills in the final match.

PBU defeated PSU-Harrisburg 25-14, 25-15, 25-18.
