LANGHORNE, PA - Neumann University ran past the Crimson Eagles 83-56 Tuesday night, turning 27 PBU giveaways into a 29-9 edge in points off turnovers for the contest.
The Knights also bettered the host group 17-8 in offensive boards en route to their 10th win in 11 tries. The visitors received nine or more points from four different players and all 12 athletes that saw floor time registered at least a solo point for the night.
Minus the TO's, the Crimson Eagles pieced together one of their better offensive performances of the season, knocking down 46.0 percent of their field goals for the game. However, Neuamnn rifled off 19 more shots than their counterpart thanks to the rebounding and turnover discrepancy.
Careth Herron led PBU with 17 points and six boards and Lisa Garner added 12 and five, respectively. Hannah McCardle and Haley Weber both added 10 points.
The Crimson Eagles will wrap up their regular season slate this Thursday when the squad hosts Cedar Crest College at 6:00 pm.
