SCRANTON, PA
- Philadelphia Biblical University's Women's Volleyball team was knocked out of the Colonial States Athletic Conference playoffs by Marywood, 3-1.

The Crimson Eagles went into the playoffs as the #6 seed, taking on the #3 seed in Marywood in the first round. PBU defeated Marywood 3-2 back on October 11 and were hoping for a repeat performance.

The contest was tight throughout, but in the end the Pacers were just one step ahead.

The first set went to Marywood, 25-23, but PBU rebounded in the second set. In the second, the Crimson Eagles won a defensive struggle 20-25, with both teams struggling to get their offenses clicking. However, PBU were unable to keep their momentum going all the way through the third set. The Crimson Eagle offensive still seemed to be in recovery mode after the second set, while Marywood's offense quickly rediscovered their groove. Led by Emily Fillman, the Pacers regained the lead 2-1 in the match.

In the fourth and final set, PBU were still unable to counter the Pacers and continued to struggle with the ball offensively, dropping the contest 25-16.

In their final match for the Crimson Eagles, Joy Bucknam (Mechanicsburg, PA / Baptist Bible) finished with 10 kills, 1 assist, 1 dig, and 1 block assist; Tricia Taylor (Elk Grove, IL / Home School) had 2 kills, 1 serve ace, 3 digs, 1 solo block, and 2 block assists; Rebekah Morrison (Fayetteville, NC / Village Christian) had 6 digs.

PBU finishes the season 19-14. Over the course of their 4 years, Bucknam, Morrison, and Taylor helped the Crimson Eagles to a 82-62 record.
