LANGHORNE, PA - The Crimson Eagles get back to their winning ways against Keystone College, defeating the Giants 8-1.
After dropping their last CSAC match against Cabrini, PBU's Women's Tennis team bounced back immediately against Keystone. The win moves the Crimson Eagles closer to a playoff spot with 3 more conference match-ups to go. PBU is now 3-4 within the Colonial States Athletic Conference, with remaining games against Neumann, Notre Dame (MD), and Cedar Crest. Overall, PBU is one game above the .500 mark at 6-5.
With the exception of the doubles loss of Katelynn Wilson and Elizabeth Stafford, PBU was otherwise able to sweep through the Giants.
Rebecca Hardman and Hannah Maddox defeated Keystone's Elizabeth McDermott and Katie Jackson 8-1. Likewise, Meghan Whittington and Dana Hartman won by a similar score against Delanie Schaepe and Katelynn Stickler giving PBU a 2-1 lead going into the singles competitions.
Once again, PBU's strength in their singles play shone through, with the Crimson Eagles taking every match.

Tara Munro defeated Delanie Schaepe (PBU 6-1, 6-2)
Dana Hartman defeated Katelynn Strickler (PBU 6-0, 6-2)
6th Year Head Coach Ken Wilson and the Crimson Eagles will be looking to carry their winning ways into their match with Neumann University tomorrow as PBU looks to knock-off the Knights. A win would put both teams at 4-4 in the conference and give PBU the head-to-head tie-breaker. The opening serve is set for 1pm.
