- Philadelphia Biblical University drops a 3-0 decision to NCAA Div. II opponent Philadelphia University.

The Crimson Eagles held tough for the first two sets, losing only 25-20 and 25-21, but their opposition broke things open in the 3rd set to close out the match 25-9.

PBU freshman Brigid Shehan (Media, Pa) looks to have recovered from an injury she suffered earlier in the season to lead the Crimson Eagles with 7 kills on the night. Senior Tricia Taylor (Elk Grove, IL) continued her strong play down the back stretch of the schedule with 6 kills of her own. Joy Bucknam (Mechanicsburg, Pa) and Ashley Taylor (Coopersburg, Pa) each had 3 kills.

Sophomore setter Erin Greenwood (Springfield, OH) had 20 assists to go along with her 11 digs. Libero Erika Catalano (Hamden, CT) had 12 digs, while Shehan not only led the way offensively, but also had the most digs with 13.

PBU falls to 16-13 overall and remain 6-4 in CSAC play.

The Crimson Eagles return to the court next Thursday when they will take on Notre Dame of Maryland. The match is away and starts at 7pm.
