LANGHORNE, PA - Cabrini College topples the Crimson Eagles on Homecoming, 9-0.
The victory maintains perfect start to the 2011 season, now with a record of 8-0. The Cavaliers are 6-0 in CSAC play.
PBU knew it would be a tough match coming into it with Cabrini predicted to finish 2nd in the CSAC Coaches Preseason Poll.
Despite the backing of a larger than usual crowd, the Crimson Eagles were pretty much outclassed in every pairing.
The Crimson Eagle's Leigha Motta came the closest to getting a result in singles play, but she would fall 4-6, 2-6, giving you an idea of the level of play PBU was up against.
In the doubles matches, the Crimson Eagles won 2 points; once in the Hannah Maddox/Rebecca Hardman pairing and once with Dana Hartman/Meghan Whittington. Both lost 1-8.
PBU falls to 2-3 in the CSAC and 5-4 overall.
The Crimson Eagles will take on Keystone College this upcoming Friday, October 7th, hoping to get back to their winning ways. PBU won last season's match 8-1.
