ALLENTOWN, PA - The women's volleyball team pieced together their first three match winning streak of the year Saturday afternoon, downing Cedar Crest College and Misericordia University in similar 3-0 fashion.

The Crimson Eagles opened up the weekend with a 25-10, 25-13, 25-18 sweep over the Falcons, pummeling out 12 service aces in the triumph.

Carly Plank posted 10 kills, 7 digs, and 5 aces in the winning effort.

PBU followed up with a 25-21, 25-22, 25-22 victory against non-conference foe Misericordia University. The Crimson Eagles limited the Cougars to a .014 hitting clip while forcing their counterpart into 27 attack miscues.

Lindsay Dager paced PBU with nine kills on a .500 attack percentage while Rachel Calderon added 24 digs on the defensive end. Katie Towe Chipped in with 17 digs and Tricia Taylor added 11.

The Crimson Eagles will return to the floor next Thursday during a road tilt with Immaculata University. Match time is 7:00 pm.
