LANGHORNE, PA - The women's tennis team fell in their season and home opener Tuesday afternoon, losing to visiting Arcadia University 9-0.

The Crimson Eagles just missed out on pulling off two individual triumphs on the day, as PBU sophomore Katelynn Wilson fell in the number one singles spot to Corey Mazen 4-6, 6-1, 6-7. Liz Staford nearly squeaked out a victory in the four spot but ultimately fell 3-6, 6-2, 6-7.

The loss marks PBU's first of the season while Arcadia improves to 1-0.

The tennis squad will get back in action on Saturday when the group hosts Penn State Abington in Langhorne at noon.
