Second Half Woes Doom Crimson Eagles

Box Score

CLARKS SUMMIT, PA - After staying within four at 29-25 to enter halftime, things quickly began to unravel for the Crimson Eagles early in the second period against Baptist Bible College Tuesday evening.

The Defenders would ultimately put on a rebounding clinic against their longtime rival, out-boarding the Crimson Eagles 19-4 on the offensive glass for the game en route to a 43 point eruption in the second stanza. When all was said and done Baptist found themselves winners by a 72-48 margin.

Dani Norton, Lindsey Fornwalt, and Summer Mullen all reached double figures for the Crimson Eagles, going for 14, 10, and 10 points, respectively.

PBU will look to get back on track this Thursday when the squad goes up against Rosemont College on the road at 7:00 pm.
