Volleyball Finishes 2-1 During Quad-Match

- The women's volleyball team dropped their opening match Saturday morning to host Marywood University but rebounded by collecting back-to-back wins later in the afternoon against Keystone College and Rosemont College.

Marywood wracked up a 3-0 triumph over the Crimson Eagles, grinding out their fourth conference win of the year by scores of 26-24, 25-22, 25-22. Betsy Ranck collected 19 assists and three aces during the loss while Rachel Calderon added 17 digs.

During their second match of the day, PBU rebounded by blowing past Keystone College, rolling in 25-10, 25-22, 25-13 fashion. Ranck finished with 25 assists and a game high mark of six aces. Calderon added eight kills and 10 digs, and Carly Plank chipped in with seven kills, eight digs, and four aces.

The Crimson Eagles wrapped up their day with a second consecutive sweep, this time blowing past Rosemont 25-9, 25-13, 25-11. Ranck put up 29 assists and three aces while Calderon and Plank both charted seven kills. Tricia Taylor added a season high six kills and Kay Lynn Zeiset posted seven aces.

The volleyball team moves to 13-10 on the year with a 5-2 mark in CSAC action. The group will return to the court this Wednesday for a meeting with Immaculata University in the Mason Activity Center at 7:00 pm.
