Squad Gets Back on Winning Track

- After dropping four of their past six matches, the Crimson Eagles responded in convincing fashion Thursday, rolling through the College of Notre Dame in three sets to pick up their third conference win of the season.

PBU limited the Gators to a -.013 attacking percentage for the match en route to a 25-17, 26-24, 25-14 triumph that marks the Crimson Eagles' seventh shutout of the year.

Junior outside hitter Carly Plank led the visitors in kills for the third straight outing and the 10th time overall this season after posting a game high mark of 10 spikes. Fourth-year setter Betsy Ranck added 25 assists and two aces, and Rebekah Morrison chipped in with eight kills and four aces.

PBU moves to 11-8 (3-1 CSAC) on the year while the College of Notre Dame drops to 3-10 (0-4 CSAC).

The volleyball team will return to the court on Monday during a non-conference meeting with DeSales University. Match time against the Bulldogs is slated for 7:00 pm.
